Versa 2 stops syncing after phone connects to UConnect in my Jeep

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've had my Versa 2 for over a year and had no problems syncing when I had my Ford Escape.  I recently trade to a Jeep Grand Cherokee which has UConnect.  Now, my Versa 2 won't sync after the phone has been connected to the Jeep. I have to uninstall and reinstall my Fitbit app. Then I have to reconnect my Versa 2 to the app in order to get the watch to sync again and reset my notification preferences.  I have even turned off the text and media options on the Jeep hoping that would help. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.  Thanks.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Bethany_C.

Thank you for trying to resolve the issue with your Fitbit Versa 2 before contacting us.

I believe the Ford Escape can store several Bluetooth devices. If you haven't done it already, please remove your phone from that list before connecting it to your Jeep Grand Cherokee.

If you did it but still continue experiencing the same situation, I would recommend following these troubleshooting steps.

Hope this helps.

This is affecting me too.  Just bought a Jeep with Uconnect.  Since I've connected my phone to Uconnect, my Sense won't stay connected to Bluetooth.   It doesn't matter if I am in the car or not.  It will not notify me of text messages or phone calls until I unlock the phone.  I've tried all the troubleshooting steps.  😞
