Versa 2 stops turning on for long periods

I’ve had a Versa 2 for almost a year and on a couple of occasions it seems to switch off and I can’t do anything with it. One of the lights on the back continuously flashes and eventually the low battery symbol appears on the front. I can charge it and it shows as charging but off the charger it appears to be sleeping. It doesn’t sync with the app either. After a few hours it miraculously switches on again and works normally. Is it updating somehow or is it faulty? Thanks to anyone who can help.

Hi @KVague, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I totally understand how you feel about your Versa 2 since it stops turning off for periods. By the way, thank you for trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, charge your watch for 2-3 hours and see if it works properly when you remove it from the charger.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
