Versa 2 stuck on Fitbit Logo

I have a Versa 2 that is constantly flashing the opening logo but with a white background.  The screen lights up like this for 10 seconds then goes black for 10 seconds then lights up again...repeats this cycle as long as it is on the charger.  I have cleaned the back of the watch, the charger itself and tried resetting the watch.  I took it off the charger for two weeks to ensure it lost all charge, put it back on the charger and when it gained a charge it started the cycle all over again.

Hi there, @OldFiddler. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out.

In addition to the steps you've done, please follow the steps below:

  • Remove your Versa 2 from your Fitbit account and unpair it from your phone's Bluetooth.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Versa 2 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 2.

If you can't get started with your Versa 2, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

I have the same problem with my Versa Lite since yesterday. I tried the steps that you proposed. When I started the setup of my versa lite process, the app recognize the watch and ask me to enter the 4 numbers displayed on the watch: the problem is that the watch continues to flash the logo every 10 seconds and no code appears. I don't know what code to enter!

So I have tried to do all of the steps previously and now the Fitbit is just flashing black and white stripes every ten seconds, no logo anymore.  I am guessing the watch has died.  When I press the reset button and hold it there is never a response or vibration.  It seems the display just keeps deteriorating.  I am thinking it is beyond the warranty (about 16 months old) and is just ready for the garbage as I have found no tips to bring it back.  The battery charges and will last quite a while off the charger with the flashing of garbage on the screen.IMG_0251.jpg

Hi,

It is just unprofessional from Fitbit that there is no hard reset on the
watch, or some way to turn it off really!
