This is frustrating! A week ago my Versa 2 went black! i thought it was because the battery went empty so I placed it in the charger. Usually when I do that it pops back to life after it gets enough of charge. This time it never booted up so I had to manually start it, only to get the start up logo, with the multi-language greetings. I went on the phone app and got the "Update the Tracker" banner. I started that process, but during the updated, the logo screen on the Versa 2 would change to a green background with the logo, then update would fail. I repeated the process using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, but would never succeed. I read all the responses from the Fitbit support team and none of them work.
It's been a week now, nothing has worked so what do I do? Throw it away and go with another device, Fitbit or other? GRRRRR!

Hi there, @beeeman. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 is stuck on the Fitbit logo. I understand how you must be feeling, I will do my best to help you with this!
As our last resort, I'd recommend performing a factory reset on your Versa 2. Important: Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.
With the above being said, please sync your Versa 2 and then, proceed with the steps below in the order listed:
You can follow the steps to set up the device after that: How do I set up my Fitbit device?
