Versa 2 stuck on Reset Failed

I've been having nothing but trouble with my Versa 2 since traveling to Mexico. The time wouldn't update while in Mexico.  On the plane returning to US, the face lit up in a strange manner, then the time was off by 20 minutes, and the touch screen wouldn't work. I tried resetting, changing time manually, changing clock face and contacting support team. Their resolution was to offer me a 35% discount on a new item.  I tried restarting my Fitbit this morning, now I get a Reset Failed message that doesn't respond to touch or restarting. Fitbit is now completely useless. I've read other comments the folks have had the same problem.  It sounds like a software problem that Fitbit refuses to address. 

I'll replace my fitness watch, but never with Fitbit again.

I’ve got the same problem and have done the restart they Fitbit have told me to do and it still states Reset Failed.  Not sure what else to do.
