Versa 2 stuck on "To start download the Fitbit app"

I can't seem to get past the message on watch to download Fitbit app.which hv done and hv a account which has moved over to google.but still says download the app.any suggestions?

Hi there, @SweetpeaCC. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 is stuck on that message. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this! @RiekoC Thank you so much for moving the post to the correct board. 

As you mentioned in your post, it looks like your Versa 2 is asking you to pair it again or properly. With that being said, I'd suggest doing the following:

  • Check if by any chance your phone's Bluetooth shows the Versa 2 as a connected device. If so, please unpair/remove it.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Setup your Versa 2 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 2.
