Versa 2 stuck on set up wallet Won't reset with Back button

My Versa 2 has been stuck on the set up wallet screen. It will eventually go back to the home screen, but will not go to any other screen.  I have tried numerous times to reset it using the back button, but nothing happens. I have tried charging it and nothing has changed.  When I go on the app it does record my steps and that I went walking, but otherwise, nothing works. 😞

I’m so sorry you are going thru this, @LatefahRose . Please try the following and let me know if it helps:

  • Sync your device to your phone then open the Fitbit app and tap Account > Versa 2 > Remove This Device.
  • Power your phone off ... wait several minutes ... then turn it back on.
  • Open the Fitbit app on your phone and tap Account > Set Up a Device.

Hopefully this will fix the situation.

Hello again, @LatefahRose . You say your data appears in the Fitbit app. The process I’ve described will not affect that stored data. Do try syncing first to capture anything new.

I ended up waiting until my Versa 2 died.  Then I recharged it and it seems ok now.
