Versa 2 stuck on the Fitbit logo

My Versa 2 just shows the Fitbit logo on and off and no matter how long I hold the button on the side, nothing changes. Tried following the steps to restart it and nothing changes.

Hi @Tbujok, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Versa 2 since it it only shows the Fitbit logo. By the way, thank you for trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

 

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). 
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.
  • Set up your watch from scratch and see if the issue gets fixed

Hi, I was reading the reset instructions.  Did you mean after 8 seconds when the fitbit logo appears release for 2 seconds then press button again?  Normally to re-boot I hold for 8 seconds and when the fitbit logo appears I let go of the button (and don’t press again).  Your post said when the fitbit logo disappears....so I’m a little confused.

Thanks for the tip, unfortunately the watch screen doesn't turn on now anymore either. Not sure what to do. I followed your instructions and it did vibrate but now it doesn't even turn on.

Is there a phone number I can call to get this sorted faster? I've been without my Fitbit now for weeks because it won't even turn on. Please get back to me asap.
