Versa 2 suddenly not holding charge for longer than 36 hours

Over the past week my Versa 2 has just suddenly stopped holding charge (after about 3 months of use). For reference, I don't use any apps and I don't have notifications synced up. I use it solely for sleep tracking, heart rate tracking, and step counting. I also don't have a fancy wallpaper/clockface, just the default one. I have tried multiple different things to get it to hold charge that I've seen suggested on these forums and nothing has worked. I even left it charging for 8+ hours one day (accidentally) and the charge still has only lasted for around 36 hours after that.

 

What can I do to fix this or is it a case of just returning it?

Charged my versa 2 to 98% yesterday morning, woke up this morning and it’s dead with 3% battery. All I did was go to bed... not the first time this has happened. Something drains it suddenly but nothing in app to tell me what is causing it. Battery usage should be visible in app to allow us to monitor. Nothing special on my versa 2 : basic clock, and couple of notifications enabled.
