Versa 2 took 12 min to connect to Bluetooth

I have stop/started BT on phone, Versa2 and restated both phone and Versa2. 

I would like to use the Versa2 to track my rides and hikes but it takes too long to connect For example, just now it took 12 minutes.  Why? and why can’t FitBit/Google sell a product that works?

To resolve syncing issues, we recommend following these troubleshooting steps.

 

In addition, you can set up your Watch as a replacement device:

 

  1. Tap the Today tab EdsonFitbit_0-1628469853467.png, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.
