Versa 2 touch screen and battery don't connent

Hello community,

I had my Versa 2 for about 2 years now. The touch screen started to act funny last week and now it doesn't respond to my tap anymore PLUS the charging cable become unusable, it doesn't charge the device anymore. At first, I thought it was because of dust and debris so I cleaned the charging contacts on the back of my device and the pins on the charging cable but still, it doesn't connect and charge the device after I cleaned them.

So now, I have my Fitbit with a 0% battery and I can't even turn it on and even if I can turn it on, the screen still has no response to my tap again

 

I'm really desperate now. Please help enlighten me. I have no clue about it at all.

See Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?  for things to try for charging - maybe you have already tried them all.

If you decide it is the charger, you can get third-party chargers for less on Amazon.

No use addressing blank screen with dead battery.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
