Touch screen started working intermittently on my versa 2. The side button is the same.
Since the firmware update this morning, touch screen is not working at all (which probably confirms it's a software issue rather than hardware).
How do I do a factory reset without using the screen??

Regarding your inquiry, I'd like you to try a regular restart. To do so, please follow the steps that are listed in this help article. After this, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the issue gets fixed.

I am also having this issue and when I do the regular restart it does work but eventually goes back to not working and i have only kept it the default clockface that comes with it.

I am having the same problem. Very frustrating.
I’ve completed the reset and changed clock face back to original Fitbit face and this did not make any improvement.
Please let me know what to try next. The watch is less than 1 year old. Thank you.

My touch screen has worked intermittently since April, and I only bought it last December (between December and April it was great). Not only am I not able to start its log of an exercise when I want to, but I use it as my alarm and I'm unable to turn it off in the mornings. I switched the clockface to a Fitbit made one (even deleted the other ones from the five saved) and have restarted many times.

I have also experienced the same issues with my versa 2. The side button intermittently doesn’t work (more often than not), and the touch screen also does not work. I have tried restarting the watch and changing the clock faces both without success. For having just purchased this watch in December and for the price I paid I am extremely disappointed.

I am having same problem recently and have tried suggestions. Nothing has improved problem. Problem is intermittent but worst at edges of screen, so ending workouts almost never happening anymore without a restart.
what do you suggest?
