Versa 2 turns itself off when the screen turns off

Since this morning my versa 2 that I've had for about 2 years keeps turning itself off every time the screen turns off. When I press the button it has to reboot itself first before I can see anything. It shows the fitbit logo first before turning on. I rebooted the device already but nothing changes. The battery is pretty much full so that shouldn't be it. Is there anyone with the same problem and knows a way to fix this?
