Versa 2 unable to swipe or tap

Problem has been intermittent for approximately a week but today it appears permanent.  Tried uninstall/reinstall, force quit, multiple attempts to sync but no change. My Versa is basically a watch at this point.

Let me help you with your Versa 2 screen not swiping and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. I suggest you try restarting your Versa 2 by following these instructions and see how it responds.

Thanks for this suggestion but sadly it didn’t work. I tried multiple times. Need it fixed- please.

I’ve tried multiple restarts and I still have only a watch.  Help please- I want to get to Pandora and all the other reasons I purchased a Fitbit.

I did a factory reset, installed/reinstalled the app, checked for updates - still can't swipe! Help!
