Hey, does anyone know what changes are introduced in VERSA 2 update 35.72.1.9?
Someone has already updated their band to this version?

Same- frustrating and unusable for heart tracking during exercise. I dm’ed Fitbit on Twitter and was told to restart the watch, not sure how that will help. No way to revert back to the old firmware so I guess that renders my (less than a year old) watch pretty useless for exercise heart rate tracking 😞

After I did the update my heart rate has been way off as well. By as much as 100 BPM.
I did the update and now my heart rate tracking is way off. Sometimes as much as 100 BPM. Do not recommend wish I could go back to old version.

Same issue as others in the thread... Updated my Versa 2 last week to Firmware 72.1.9 and heart rate accuracy during exercise has gone way down.
Is there a fix in the works or should we migrate to other manufacturers' devices?

this does not clarify what is contained/changed in the newest update...I've searched and searched...even on "chat" and all I get/see is: "We fixed some bugs and made stability improvements". What does that even mean? Why can't Fitbit explain any changes? (I did notice scrolling through other devices that they explain some of the "improvements", but not Versa 2). I'd also like to know what I'm going to have to go back and "redo/unchange" that the update "fixes"...as with most updates from different companies, things change that I DON'T WANT to change...I liked them the way they were. (not all changes even apply to me or how I use my device). Hoping you can clarify...

I clicked on the link you provided for the help section. I looked up the latest update for Versa 2, which it says is 35.72.1.9
It says the update contains bug fixes and and updates. No specific information. It's not much better than saying the update is an update.
This is the kind of information I was looking for. A large corporation like Google doesn't care if an update was properly tested before it gets rolled out.

iphone. I just get frustrated w/companies that are just so general with their update info. I'm the type of person that wants to know WHY is there an update...how is it going to (if at all) affect me?! And I hate when it changes my settings and don't always know how to get things back to what I want it to be...again!

Hello dear,
I tried several times to update my fitbit versa 2 to the latest firmware 35.72.1.9 but I could not.
The version I have now is 32.72.1.9.
Any recommendations?
Thank you.

Thats 2 different watch firmwares.
Your watch is a Versa if it has 32.72.1.9 and is at the latest level.
35.72.1.9 is the latest firmware for a different watch, a Versa 2 type.

On my second Versa 2. Like the last one, when it was updated to 35.72.1.9 everything fell apart. During exercise I get a completely different heart rate readout every second; for instance, 67, 115, 87, 59, 138, 120
It absolutely cannot keep the heart rate.
