Versa 2 went black(dead) while swimming

Waterproof Versa 2 went black while swimming in pool. I took it off after I got out. After a few minutes it seemed to be working again. I decided to leave it in a towel when I went back in the water. After getting out a bit later, it was dead(black screen)again. I tried holding in on the button.. nothing. 

I did put it on the charger. After a few minutes the watch was a little warm  I just charged it yesterday anyway. I've had it less than a year. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks SC

Spoke with chat regarding issue.She informed that my battery was at 0%. Makes sense. Told me about cleaning the pins and trying a different USB port. Then

we got cut off.

Did the things she said. Put the charger back on. It comes on logo-clock-charging % screen goes black. Ok good  it's needs to charge. I checked it in awhile, nothing, isn't charging. I've repeated numerous times. Comes on,goes off won't charge.

I charged my watch the night before it died. I thought it worked because I hadn't had any issues. As far as I'm concerned I want a replacement since it's still under warranty. I'm writing this post mainly for customer service.
