This week after the newest Fitbit app update, my Versa 2 either does not connect to GPS or does not stay connected to GPS. I have restarted the device, restarted the app, restarted my phone without success.

I am also very frustrated with this problem. It is likely related, but my pace is also way down. I am moving just as fast as I have been but it's telling me I'm going anywhere from 3-5 minutes slower. So overall it is saying I am traveling a shorter distance and at a slower pace than I have been when doing the same route I have been doing for months. I bought this last November. It should not be breaking down yet!

Same problem. My pace is dramatically slower and the distance I walk is incorrect. I have been tracking my walking for a very long time. Also, the map shows me walking in one straight line when in reality I have walked all over the neighborhood. I am very upset as this is the main reason I have the tracker in the first place. Also, the fitbit won't stay connected to my phone. I didn't even want to do the update but was "forced" to because the the app kept prompting me to do it. Ugh!

same here - IF I get a map which is rare in the last week it is a straight line

I'm having the same issue, and it's extremely frustrating! I found I had to constantly get my phone out, refresh the Fitbit app to re-sync and connect to GPS - to have to do it again 2 minutes after!

I'm having the same problem. The versa does'nt stay connected with my GPS or does not connect at all...

After doing everything suggested by the support chat, what seems to have helped is uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app. Testing it out now!

I have read all the posts and my 9 month old Versa 2 isn't connecting to GPS either and I'm getting a straight line on my map too. I will uninstall and reinstall my app. Thanks!

Having the same issue for over a week. Extremely frustrating, reset, restored, logged in out and everything. Nothing has helped!!
