Versa 2 will not receive notifications after upgrading to phone

I recently upgraded my iphone 6s to an iphone 11 --- My versa 2 will not receive calls and text messages, however I can get notifications from my apps... Please advise what I can do ? I have done all the steps and even reinstalled everything. I haven't even had this watch a year 😕

Hi there @SunsetRunner, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 stopped receiving notifications after upgrading your iOS device, I understand how you're feeling. I appreciate you've already taken the time to troubleshoot this issue prior to posting here, I'll be glad to continue assisting you. 

While reading your post I was wondering if you are unable to receive your iOS notifications but do receive notifications from 3rd party apps? Would you also mind letting me know if your Versa 2 is syncing to your iPhone 11? If your watch isn't syncing, please follow the troubleshooting steps provided here: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? 

In the meantime, please try toggling the iMessage setting; general > Messages > iMessage and verify the `Show Previews` to be on `Always`.
