Versa 2 will pair but not connect

Switched from iPhone xr to samsung flip z 3 and versa 2 connected perfectly.  Three days later an update occurred and the versa 2 will now pair but not connect to Bluetooth.  I have tried deleting and adding the device as well as removing from Bluetooth always with phone restarts. I have five a reset on the watch as well.  It keeps saying an app is needed for this device.  I have deleted and re installed the fitbit app. Nothing works and I keep getting the same message.

Hi @Tlenns - remove the Bluetooth entry from the phone you are not using and make sure there is only one active phone, then remove the Bluetooth entry in the phone you are using and in the Fitbit App click profile photo and "+Set up a Device".

Hello @guy , I have already done that as well as De registering my apple device.  I seem to have got it working now although it still does not show as connected.  I am stumped

@Tlenns- where is it not showing as connected? Is it syncing or not syncing?

At this stage a restart of phone and watch may help if there is still a problem.
