Versa 2 won’t add Panasonic RZ-S500W earphones

I have tried connecting the Panasonic RZ-S500W earphones to my Versa 2 but the Versa 2 doesn’t detect the new device. The earphones connect easily to my iPhone. Should all earphones including gear be compatible? Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry it should be the RZ-S300W earphones.
