Versa 2 won't allow to add cards to Fitbit Pay

Hi

 

My current device :

Fitbit Versa 2 version 70.7.14

On Iphone 6  : iOS : 12.4.4

 

I have tried several times with different cards - issued by 2 different financial institutions , both on the Fitbit list -, and I just had a dialogue with the support team from one of the card issuers.

They can not see in the logging system that the Fitbit makes an attempt to reach the card issuer system. When they 'see' it then they will enable it . 

 

Any attempt to add any card to the wallet ends with the same error message : There was a problem verifying your card details with issuer. Please verify and try again.

I have also uninstalled and installed the app, resetting the watch several times but without any positive result.

 

Any one that experienced a similar issue and how did you solve it ?

An update :

 

I finally succeeded in adding the card to the wallet.

I've raised a support ticket with Fitbit and I've contacted the support team of the card issuer.

I really don't know what happened as I've entered the same information for the same card over and over again, and all of a sudden - just before I was ready to answer Fitbit - , the agreement page and the button appeared.

I then contacted the customer service of the card issuer and after they verified my identity, they enabled Fitbit pay.for my account in the system.

 

I therefore encourage you , if you still experience problems when adding your card to the wallet to give it a try.
