Versa 2 won't charge anymore

I cannot get my Versa.2 to charge.  I've cleaned it, tried another charger (borrowed. my sisters), used another cable and different.plugs. any helpful hints?

Hi there, @LAB48Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 is still not charging. I will do my best to help you with this! 

To better assist you, may I know if you cleaned both, your Fitbit device and charging cable? Please confirm that you did clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?

Additionally, please find below some tips to best charge Fitbit devices:

  • Use only genuine Fitbit charging cables
  • Use only UL-certified wall chargers
  • Avoid USB battery packs
  • Charge at room temperature

For charging purposes, your charging cable or your base station can be plugged into any USB power source, including but not limited to:

  • A computer
  • A Wall A/C to USB adapter, commonly found with smartphones
  • A DC to USB adapter (vehicle power port)

I'm having the same problem and I use my tracker daily. Tried all the cleaning,  care,  etc. Nothing. Just a dead tracker

Hi @MarreFitbit - I confirm I have done everything suggested, however my Versa 2 still won’t turn on.  When connect it to the charger I get a cross between the Fitbit symbol and a red exclamation point with a box.
