Welcome to the Fitbit community, @nonnakelley!

Sad to hear that you're having issues with your Versa 4.
To hope fully get things fixed, please have a closer look here to eliminate any reasons why your device won't charge:

Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

Also please try if resetting your device will get it back to working order. To do so, keep it's button pressed for around 10 seconds until you'll see the Fitbit logo on it's display.

I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Hi there, @nonnakelley. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that your new Luxe is still crashing itself suddenly. I understand how annoying this can be, I will do my best to help you with this!

I agree with @Talahthas, keep in mind that a Fitbit might not seem to be charging when actually the issue is that it has become unresponsive (this can happen if the battery has been allowed to discharge completely). I would suggest putting it on to charge on a charging wire and outlet known to be working.  Leave it on the charger for a good two hours, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging. If the issue persists, make sure you've followed the tips and recommendations provided in the help article shared by Talahthas.

On a side note, please make sure that your Fitbit device is receiving good power source, please find below some tips to best charge Fitbit devices:

  • Use only genuine Fitbit charging cables
  • Avoid USB battery packs
  • Charge at room temperature

For charging purposes, your charging cable or your base station can be plugged into any USB power source, including but not limited to:

  • A computer
  • A Wall A/C to USB adapter, commonly found with smartphones
  • A DC to USB adapter (vehicle power port)
