Versa 2 won't connect to Alexa or Spotify

My Versa2 will not connect to Alexa or Spotify. How can I fix that?

Hi there @Scott1065, welcome to the Community Forums. 

 

Have you recently set up your Versa 2? If so, this would explain why you're not yet able to install either Alexa or Spotify. Since you have just setup your Versa 2 it may appear up to date but it needs another update. The latest update isn't available until up to 48 hours after setup.

 

With that being said, please note that in order for your watch to install those apps it has to be running version 71.6.19, any version below that one won't let you to install Alexa or Spotify. For more information, see What's changed in the latest Fitbit device update?

So will the update automatically update or do I have to do something to update the watch?
