Versa 2 won’t connect to GPS

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I’m having three issues with my Versa 2 that was purchased after Christmas.
#1. The Versa will not connect to GPS

#2. The Versa vibrates and stops reading the heart rate - this happens several times a day

#3. The Versa will not let me swipe the screen to start an exercise or anything else until I hold the button down until the logo appears

Please help, this is getting frustrating.

@Neal7804, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa 2 won't connect to GPS, it stopped tracking your heart rate properly and the screen won't swipe.

In order to fix these issues, I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, please follow the steps below:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
    1. Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
    2. Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

After this, please check out this help article which contains some troubleshooting steps which are helpful for the GPS issue.

Finally, try the workaround listed in this help page in order to fix the heart rate issue.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
