My Versa 2 is unable to connect to WIFI. My phone is connected to WiFi, with 3 bars, and I am standing next to the router when many attempts failed to connect. My Versa 2 was previously connected to the same WiFi. I’ve already tried restarting my FitBit, to no avail. The WiFi is not the problem. Help!

Hi @Janeyes, welcome to the community.
If you haven't already done so I would suggest restarting your router/modem and then trying to connect the Versa again.

@JuanJoFitbit hi there, I've also tried all your troubleshooting steps in multiple articles, even those marked as solved. Regret to inform that nothing has worked. Even in those posts which were marked solved, users actually mentioned that it actually was not solved.
I've noticed that this wifi connectivity issue has been persistent for a very long time. Do you have any other solutions other than the basic troubleshooting that is on the website?

In the last few weeks the same thing is happening. It refreshes only at home. Once I’m away from home it won’t find my versa 2. I’ve tried turning fitbit off. Turning wifi and Bluetooth off and on. Turning phone off and on. Removing and Re installing fitbit app on my phone. I removed versa and app and reinstalled both and it managed to find it once. I’ve tried that a few time now with no luck. I’m on the road around the world for my job. I can’t have it only work at home 😳 can you advise why it all of a sudden has stopped working. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Gayle

This is the most frustrated I have been with fitbit. I got the versa 2 mainly so I could download my music and control it. This device will absolutely not connect to wifi. It worked once then 5 minutes later it was gone. Troubleshooted all the options to no avail. I should have kept my blaze. At the very least I could use the controls to skip, pause, and play on it.😡

Yesterday my phone could find my Versa 2, even when beside each other, I removed the device from my app, and turned my bluetooth off and on again.
When re-adding my Versa 2, the app won't let me connect to the wifi, continually telling me I have the incorrect password, it's not. I'm sitting next the router. I have turned the router off and on again, with no success, so I can update my Versa. You app is buggy.

Hello Everyone
I have the same issue, I purchased two fitbit versa 2 and my partners fitbit versa 2 can connect at her place to wifi.
At my own house I cannot connect my Versa 2 even after a hard reset, troubleshooting steps are no help at all. Connecting Charger right next to the router and placing the Versa 2 in the charger and connecting, it still says "network out of reach".
This is very frustrating because 2 months ago my Fitbit Aria lost connection and has not even been able to connect to the Wi-Fi as well.
Fitbit, please provide a solution or update to the APP. Latest APP update did not do much for the actual devices.

Ok, so I managed to connect both my devices but I am not sure if it will work for everyone.
The issue is not the trouble shooting steps, it's the connection with the Router and the device. I recently switched to Optus NBN and I had my Fibtit Aria working for a while with an Asus Router RT-AC-88U. However, after a while it stopped connecting.
Note: I connected my optus router to give internet to my asus router since the wifi coverage is always so bad with telco equipment.
Then I switched to NBN and my other router worked for a couple of weeks before it stopped providing internet. Optus controls the DHCP server which gives the IP address to your device. So this frustrated me and annoyed me, I had to disconnect my Asus Router. Now as technology has improved, the wifi range of the Optus NBN modem coverage is not bad.
I had a feeling this would work, so I tried connecting both my devices, and it worked. I am not sure why but I know for a fact that when you use the original connection to your internet provider, it connects.
I hope this helps everyone with this issue.
