Versa 2 won't connect to Wi-Fi

I have a Versa 2 and I cannot get it to stay on Wifi, not only to transfer music which I've never been able to do but even in setup it just won't stick.  It connects and the icon lights up and I get the screen that says success you are connected to wifi, and then as soon as I hit ok it drops and the list of available networks comes up again.  I checked and my connection to wifi says it's 2.4 ghz, and I set it to private, nothing
