Versa 2 won't connect to my phone's Bluetooth anymore

My versa 2, died during the night. (Was on 50% going to bed) I have fully charged it, and realised that the t8me is incorrect. Have uninstalled both the versa and the app, and it is still not connecting to my phone

Hi there, @Eilmc. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out.

In addition to the steps you've done, please try the following in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Versa 2 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 2.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 2.
  • Once your Versa 2 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 2 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

Once you manage to sync your Versa 2, the time should be corrected. Keep in mind that your Fitbit device uses the time of the device you're syncing with.

Thank you. Unfortunately this is not working, I'm getting a message stating 'data not cleared, sync and try again'. I can't sync it as it is no longer connected 😢

@Eilmc Thanks for getting back and the details provided.

Please note the message "Data not cleared, Sync & Try again" usually appears when you performed a factory reset without first unpairing your watch from your phone's Bluetooth settings.

Nevertheless, the steps I've provided above should work for this scenario too. Are you getting stuck at any step?

In the meantime, please try restarting your Versa 2 and then, try all those steps again in the order listed.

Hi there, I have tried to restart it again, and am getting the data not cleared message all the time now. So yes I am stuck.

Thanks
