Versa 2 won't connect to my phone's Bluetooth

Hello, my fitbit versa 2 no longer shows up in bluetooth. As if it is not a bluetooth device. After a factory reset it still simply just does not show up, I can't see it in the bluetooth menu on my phone and it says no devices found.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Hi there @Kailtes, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out.

As @Guy_ has mentioned, please note that the difficulty you are having to set up your Versa 2 again is usually caused when you perform a factory reset without first unpairing the watch. In order to solve this issue, I'd recommend trying the steps below:

  • Remove your Versa 2 from your Fitbit account and make sure there's no connection whatsoever between your phone's Bluetooth settings and the Fitbit.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Versa 2 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 2 once again.

If you can't get started with your Versa 2, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

If you did a factory reset you will need to reinstall it - during that time the Fitbit App will take care of reconnecting it.

But beware if you did a factory reset and it killed the watch, there will be nothing on the watch face when you start it, and no flashing lights behind.

In the phone Fitbit App

Click on  + Set up a Device

Follow the installation instructions
