Versa 2 won't connect to my phone's Bluetooth

So I recently switched from a Samsung watch to the versa. Never had connecting issues with my other one. I can get the watch to pair but not to connect to my phone. It keeps saying I need an app to use. I downloaded the fitbit app and I still can't get it to connect. It syncing and everything but still won't connect. Is there another app I need to get it to work?

Update: I've reset both phone and watch. When I unpaired the watch from my phone, my phone said it had low connection(watch). I'm not sure if anyone else has gotten that message before. I've also un installed the app twice now and still nothing.

Hi there, @Krisykris1230. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out.

In addition to the steps you've done so far, please try the following:

  • Unpair your Versa 2 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 2.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 2.
  • Once your Versa 2 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.
