Versa 2 won't connect to my phone's Bluetooth

Hello, I recently purchased the Versa 2 and have yet to get it bluetooth paired with my Samsung S20 plus. I get a pop up saying an app has to be used. I have done all of the following:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the OS version of your phone is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.

Can someone please help me 🤯

Hi there, @LAR2021. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out. I understand how you must be feeling. 

Please bear in mind that you'll need to do the set up process through the Fitbit app and not your phone's Bluetooth. The app will guide you through every step until you connect your Versa 2 successfully. 

However, if you have done so that way and you still need help, please see Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
