Versa 2 won't connect to my phone

I was having sync issues the last couple days.  So i unpaired the device and restarted everything.   Now it won't connect.   My phone sees the device but it won't connect to it.   I've only had it for a couple months.   Any ideas?

I'm having a similar issue. I unpaired my Versa 2 due to sync issues and now neither the phone nor the Fitbit app can see or find it.

I do know that you're supposed to pair it through the app, not through your phone's Bluetooth settings.  But are you saying that your phone's Bluetooth setting actually lists your Fitbit as a device it sees and could pair with (even though you're supposed to pair it up through the app)?  My phone (an iPhone) just spins and spins looking for Bluetooth devices to pair with and can't find my Fitbit, so it's no surprise that the app can't manage to find it either.

I kind of wonder if a Fitbit can stop broadcasting its presence over Bluetooth.....

Yes.   My versa comes up in the available devices in the phones bluetooth.   I can't pair it without the app though.   The app sees it as well but won't connect.   Maybe I'll have to spring for the android watch next time...

My Phone is an Apple 5s ---  my problem was the watch completely went blank even though it was fully charged.

Here is what I did and it may work in your case:

My Versa 2 is back...

1)  I first recharged Versa 2

(even though it was fully charged and suddenly went blank while talking with Fitbit Tech) 

2)  I deleted Fitbit App on iPhone

3)  I rebooted iPhone

4)  I downloaded the Fitbit App from the App Store - installed

5)  I rebooted the iPhone again

6)  I turned off Bluetooth and restarted it again  (seen the Versa 2 connected)

7)  Started the Fitbit app and followed the prompts.  All seems to be working correctly again as of this writing.

Another thing I'd like to mention....I was trying to get the Weather App to work but to no avail.

I discovered I had to setup the watch inside the Fitbit App in order to see all the apps that are on

the watch and I was able to set up the Weather App.  Instructions are not very clear.

So i did exactly this as you detail and the same result.   My phone can see it,  but it won't connect.
