Versa 2 won't connect to phone

Hi

 

I just got my Versa 2 today. It was connected and working perfectly. I accidentally pressed add new device in the Fitbit app and its removed the versa 2.

It won't reconnect (see screenshot)

I've tried turning off and on, deleted the fitbit app and reinstalled it, turned bluetooth off and on. It will not reconnect 

 When I try to connect by bluetooth it says the settings on the versa are wrong

Please help me I'm so upset

Hi @LucyButler, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Versa 2 since it won't connect with your phone. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

 

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). 
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

After this, try the setup process again as instructed in this help page and see if it connects properly.
