My father-in-law just bought a Versa 2. When he tries to download the Fitbit app onto his iPad Gen 4 it says he needs to upgrade to iOS 11. The iPad Gen 4 does not run iOS 11. It is up-to-date with iOS 10.3.3.
Is there a way to get the Fitbit app onto this device?
Thanks

Hello @RD_H and a warm welcome. Sorry, but the iPad Gen 4 isn't on the list of compatible devices. You need to have iOS 11 as minimum for the app to work properly with the device. Also, it is my understanding that Apple won't let you download an earlier version of an app.

@RD_H welcome to our Fitbit Community. By the way, I'm sorry for the late response.
Regarding the connection issues between your Versa 2 and iPad 4th Gen, @LZeeW is totally correct. I'm afraid that this device is not in the compatible devices list.
As an alternative solution, you can set up and sync your Versa 2 with a computer. Please check out and follow the instructions listed in this help article, under the subject "How do I create a Fitbit account and connect my device?".
I'll be around if any questions arise.

@JuanJoFitbit I believe you are incorrect about setting up the Versa 2. I believe that you need a compatible Android or iOS device. The manual only mentions Android and iOS devices.
