Versa 2 won't connect with my Samsung S20

Just got a samsung s20 and now my versa 2 won't work. It originally said it was connected but wouldn't sync. I read to Uninstall and then reconnect it. It would no longer recognize the device. I then deleted and added the app again. Restarted the phone and nothing. Soft reset the device and still nothing so I factory reset the versa 2 and no it won't even find the device . The device just shows the fitbit icon and says to start download the app. I just want my fitbit to work. This is ridiculous.

Hi @What628, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 is not connecting with your Samsung S20. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

 

In order to avoid any confusion on my end, let me know if you performed the factory reset as listed below:

 

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). 
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset. 

After this, try setting up your watch from scratch as instructed in this help page.
