Versa 2 won't measure heart rate.

I have had my Versa 2 for 5 months. I love that you can swim with it on, even though I haven't taken advantage of that much.

For the past week, the watch is not tracking heart rate or counting steps at all. I have also noticed the battery is running down faster. It lasted less than 2 days when I wasn't even wearing it.

There is no light showing on the back. I have been in the forums and tried turning tracking on and off, and turning the watch off and on and so forth.

Please help. I expected this watch to last longer than 5 months.

Hi @laelwhite, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Versa 2 since it won't track your heart rate or steps. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

After this, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. Finally, try the tips included in this help page in order to improve the battery life of your watch and see if the issues get fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
