Versa 2 won't pair or sync

Hello.

 

I have beeen beyond frustrated with FitBit. My Versa 2 would not sync with my app. I tried all the steps including uninstalling/installing the app. I also tried to pair the tracker again with the app. No luck! I have decided after this, my next smart watch will not be a Fit bit.

I hope you all are also aware this isn’t just an Android issue and isn’t just a syncing issue.  I bought my versa in may and it’s been perfect, until I ran that update.  Now I have to turn the thing off, turn off Bluetooth then back on and have it re-recognize my Fitbit, everything suggested to get it to sync and it still doesn’t, and my heart rate monitor is no longer accurate (I’ve checked against my pulse oximeter, they used to be within 3-5 bpms of each other, now my Fitbit stays mainly stuck at 109 bpms during vigorous exercise).  

you have a ton of users extremely frustrated, and support insists it isn’t the Fitbit when it is.  Very upset that my Fitbit is now working as nothing more than a glorified step counter.

Just got a versa 2 and this is still an issue in March of 2023. I have the latest android update and the latest Fitbit app.
