Good day,
I bought my Versa 2 about 48 hours ago. However, i am unable to pair it with my Samsung J260M phone (android OS 8.1.0)
Out of curiosity, i tried to pair the watch with my iPad and it was successfully paired in a 1minute.
I know i can only pair that watch with one device. So i unpaired the watch with the ipad and tried again to pair it with the phone. No luck. The fitbit app ends up asking me to try again or to plug the watch to charge it. The watch is already fully charged.
I turned off the phone bluetooth and turned it back on. I tried again. No luck.
Can someone assist me please?

Hi there, @Carib38400. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out.
First of all, please make sure that your Samsung J260M meets the requirements listed here.
Despite meeting the above requirements, the following devices often exhibit compatibility issues that cause our products and services to not operate properly:
If your phone is not on the list above and meets the requirements to operate properly with the Fitbit app, please try the steps below:
1. Remove the Versa 3 from your phone's Bluetooth settings and in the Fitbit app.
2. Restart your Versa 3.
3. Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
4. Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
5. Set up your Versa 3.

Hello,
Thank you for your feedback.
However, my phone (Samsung Galaxy J2 Core; Model number SM-J260M) is not on the list above and meets the requirements (has Android version 8.1.0) to operate properly with the Fitbit app.
I tried to follow the steps but I am not given the option to forget the Versa 2 from the list of bluetooth device. However, Versa 2 does appear among the list of nearby bluetooth device.
Anyway I restarted the watch, plugged it to the charger and tried to set it up once again. I still cannot pair it.
Do you any other suggestions ? FYI this is for the Versa 2 (not 3 as you mentioned in your reply)
(In the meantime I went back, once again, to my iPad and paired the watch with it, successfully.
Thanks in advance
