Versa 2 won't receive notifications from my Huawei phone

I have a Huawei p30 pro, and a versa 2 Fitbit.  I keep getting a message saying to restart my phone to get the notifications to work, I have done that a million times and it still won't tell me when I get a notification on my watch.  It's kind of upsetting seeing as I spend 250 bucks for this primary reason. Any help would be great.  Thanks

I have the p20 and having the exact same problem. I've recently had a phone software update also. Maybe it's Huawei that's the issue?

I've managed to sort the problem on my phone. I tried everything in the help first and nothing worked. I then uninstalled the app on my phone and reinstalled it and it's fixed the issue.

It worked thank you you are a godsend occasionally it's still does the same thing but I just delete the app and install it again and it seems to work it's good enough for me until they figure out what the problem is must be the new update
