Versa 2 won't receive notifications from my phone

My versa is less than a week old.

It won't sync up to show me text messages, calls, emails etc. Says that the phone needs to be restarted which I've done, a lot. I've also logged out and logged back in which fixes it temporarily. Any suggestions?
