Hi there @GrainneD_83, welcome on board. Thanks for the details provided in your post regarding the issues you've been having to receive notifications on your Versa 2, I understand where your concern is coming from. I appreciate your time and efforts in fixing this issue prior to posting here.
If you're getting the error message “Notification service is not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker”, please note that we’re aware of it and are working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible.
If you're not getting that error message, but having issues with your notifications, make sure you've followed these steps: Why are notifications delayed or missing?
I'm looking forward to your response, keep me posted.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

Hi, I've had this issue for months and each time I contact Fitbit regarding the issue (same as above) I am given the same message. I have a Huawei P30 which is supposedly a compatible device but the notifications are a large feature of the versa 2. Please may you help with this rather than giving the same message.
Many thanks
