Hello I recently purchased a new 2020 motorola razr flip smartphone. Connected to the versa and I don't get messages anymore on my watch. Is it a connectivity/compatibility issue or what?

Hi there @Mbraunig, welcome to the Community Forums.

Regarding your inquiry with your Motorola Razr Flip, make sure it meets the requirements listed here.

Moving on to the troubleshooting steps for the issue with your Versa 2, please make sure you've removed your Versa 2 from your old's phone. If the connection between the two still exists, the notifications may be coming from your old phone and that's why they are not showing on you watch.

Follow the steps below to remove the Versa 2 from your old phone and to set it up on the Motorola:

  • One your old phone's Bluetooth settings, remove the Versa 2.
  • Restart your Versa 2.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 2.
  • Set up the notifications.

As a friendly reminder, know that since you're setting up notifications, you'll need to receive a message from the app desired in order for your app to show it as option in your Fitbit notification's section.

Hope that helps.

Check your notification setup first in the Fitbit App as its working with the phone. You may also need to check the phone is setup correctly.

In the phone Fitbit App

Click on profile photo [top left]

Device photo [middle left]

Notifications

And verify the top 4 items are correctly defined.

Also

App notifications

and select any apps you want to hear from.
