Versa 2 won't receive text messages from my iPhone 12

I got my Fitbit about a month ago. I have never received text notifications to my versa. It receives phone calls but not messages. I have done all the trouble shooting techniques and even factory reset my Fitbit. Still nothing. Does it have something to do with the newer iPhone 12?

Hi there @NicoleStowell, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out.

Since you're on iOS device and text messages is the only notification not coming through, I'd like to know if those messages are actually iMessages? I also have an iPhone and I had a similar inconvenience, but I tried toggling the iMessage setting; general > Messages > iMessage and verified the "Show Previews" was on "Always". If this steps don't work for you, I suggest taking a look at the help article: Troubleshooting quick tips for iPhones.
