My Fitbit versa 2 just turned off like it died but had plenty of battery. I have dried it, cleaned it, charged it, but it won't turn back on our respond at all. Do I need to buy a new one or can I fix it?

I just had this happen today, and yes the battery has a charge (the first thing anyone would check, and we still get pointed to a blurb about charging). I have a Versa 2, and the number of issues it’s had since new are unbelievable. Three years of constantly dealing with headaches. The only thing this forum has helped with is knowing I’m not alone. Considering how inaccurate it’s fitness metrics are, I’m not sure if it’s any more useful than just a timepiece anyway (which also often doesn’t work, or even sync with my time zone). I tried to see if syncing would bring the watch back to life, and eventually (after six or so attempts) the logo came up and the watch came back on. Mine will go to the rubbish bin once I get something else. I can’t in good conscience sell it to anyone. Resetting after putting my music and my preferences in is fun too. It takes a whole afternoon to get everything back on it.
