Versa 2 won't respond to anything

versa 2 dead, not charging, not updating, app does not even detect the device (say looking).  Have tried all your troubleshooting steps to no avail. Brand new charger.  Using iphone x to update but also tried ipad mini 4th gen.  Help please.

I have done all this. I followed all the instructions on a previous thread. The app does not even recognize the fitbit. It just says « Looking » and never finds it. I am unable to restart it as per the instructions.  I have put it on 2 different chargers overnight, many different outlets, directly in the wall.  There are no twinkles, no lights, no signs of life.  Yes it was completely discharged.

Hi there, @Nat4dad. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 is still unresponsive. I will do my best to help you with this!

To better assist you, may I know the steps you've tried so far?

As a first approach, please note that sometimes a Fitbit doesn’t seem to be charging when actually the issue is that it has become unresponsive (this can happen if the battery has been allowed to discharge completely). I'd recommend putting it on to charge on a charging wire and outlet known to be working.  Leave it on the charger for a good two hours, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging.  

When it has had two hours, try restarting your Versa 2. I would recommend trying this maybe twice in a row if a first try doesn’t work.
