So as many posts before, my husband is using my old Versa 2 on his Galaxy S8. Unfortunately, I did a factory reset and now, it the app can't find the Versa when it searches, yet it's actually showing paired. Now since I did a factory reset, it's like a brand new fitbit and can't get past the screen on the fitbit advising how to set it up. Fitbit app can't find Versa so it's basically a brick. Help?

@AmyC76 , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message.
Does your husband receive an error message when trying to setup the Versa?
Do the difficulties appear when connected to a wifi or mobile data?
Have any of tried to pair the Versa with his account using another mobile device where the app can be installed?
The mobile device that was used previously to sync the Versa is nearby? If so , try turning the Bluetooth of that device off while trying to setup the Versa.
More tips can e found here: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

Hello just says the normal can't find, try placing it on the charger while the process is happening. We've turned off all Bluetooth items to test, Uninstalled, reinstalled, unpaired, repaired, turned off and on the fitbit and phone. My fitbit is a Charge 5 and his phone won't even find that to connect Bluetooth. Finds the Versa 2 and pairs but can't get past that. It's so odd.

@AmyC76 , Thank you for your reply and further efforts.
Did you tried to log in your husband's account into another mobile device?
Just download the Fitbit app and log in with his credentials.
Then try to use that mobile device to setup the Versa 2 with his account.
If the Versa 2 is already paired to the account, then try log out of the Fitbit app, and log in into his phone.
After that try to sync the Versa 2 with your husbands phone.
With your phone, you should be log in with your own credentials, and the Charge 5 should appear as paired to the account.
It's recommendable to use a mobile device for each watch and tracker.
Be aware that the Versa 2 and Charge 5 cannot be together on the same account.

His mobile device has the app downloaded and only his credentials. Mine only has the Charge 5, the Versa has been gone for a year off mine. His mobile app will not find it. The other phone he has, same thing. I've turned my phone off while trying to set it up to make sure its not interfering.

Hi @AmyC76 - if the watch was reset and previously attached to your phone remove it from the Bluetooth on your phone.
On your husband's phone remove any watch already attached to the fitbit app or in Bluetooth and logout of the Fitbit app and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it, then restart the phone.
The next step is important, turn off any phone equipment or watch other than the Versa 2 and your husband's phone, Login to the app, click profile photo and "+ Set up a Device ", there is a greater chance it will now work.
