Versa 2 won’t stay connected and shuts down

I have an iPhone 11 and have taken maybe a 2 month break from wearing my Fitbit versa 3. I have charged it and placed it on my wrist, it would connect to my phone for a while but eventually shut itself off due to disconnection from my phone. It kills my battery amd I’ve spent 2 different days trying to fix the connection so it can sync properly, but the end of the day it keeps disconnecting and shutting down and on again. I’ve tried resetting it recently (holding the bottom for 10 seconds) and I stopped after the logo appeared, but then it just kept vibrating weirdly (not the quick short vibrate it normally does when it wants to notify me) and now it won’t turn on. I’ll try plug it in and restart again today after work, but could the device need an update rather than the app on my cellular device? Thanks in advance - A
