Versa 2 won't stay connected to my phone's Bluetooth

So I bought the fitbit versa 2... I've had it about week and few days and I keep having to uninstall/reinstall fitbit app and reset up my fitbit versa 2... then when trying to reconnect my versa 2 it gives me a passcode and then while setting up it pops up another passcode, sometimes its does it 3+ times... then after a half hour or so it finally starts to connect...

What should I do?

Hi there @Mizzel707, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 won't stay connected to your phone's Bluetooth, I totally understand how you must be feeling about keeping to have to uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app plus restarting your watch to solve the issue. I'll be glad to help you with this.

May I know what's the mobile device you're syncing with? Have you checked if your phone is included here: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

If you haven't done so yet, I'd recommend following the troubleshooting steps provided here: Why won't my Fit bit device sync?

Also make sure that the Fitbit app is allowed to run in the background on your phone and check if your phone doesn't have a syncing issue listed in What should I know about using the Fitbit app on my Android phone?

I am having a similar problem. Every several days I lose the bluetooth connection. I am using an iPhone and I go to settings/bluetooth and if the Versa 2 shows, I 'Forget this Device'. Sometime it connects again in an hour but lately it has gone on for a whole day. The Fitbit directions say I should "Open the Fitbit app and set up the connection again." Not sure how to do this. In my Fitbit App, do I 'Remove This Versa 2' and set up again? I don't want to lose all my history. I'm not seeing anything else in the Fitbit directions.

I have a Galaxy a50 and I've done all the same things you've done.. I removed reinstalled, I have the latest fitbit application updated, I just updated my phone.. same as U every few days it won't connect... I am getting tired of having to uninstall and re install or remove my device and reconnect it.  I'm just going to take it back to where I got it and have it replaced it's still under the 30 day warranty.

I think It's a software glitch .
