Hi
If it was working fine previously and the problem is new seems like it is one of the more recent common issues.
Probably best to inform Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.

Mine has had the same problem. I have tried everything. Very frustrating. I am assuming it is a problem on Fitbit's side of things.

Me too, I even went out and bought a new one, thinking mine was old and glitching. and it's doing the same thing with the new one.😡

Thank you very much for trying. I have followed all of these steps multiple times on both the old and new watch.

I just chatted with customer support and the reason it won't sync is the new update is not compatible with my "old" phone. Even though I have absolutely no issues with the phone, and my fitbit has always synced with no problems for years. They say they can't let me run my watch on the old version. So it's either get a new phone or don't use the fitbit.
