Hi I need assistance with my Versa 2. It is 2years and 3moths old.
It worked fine until last weekend then ran out of battery and now is very difficult to swipe, cannot cancel workouts and battery drains within 12hours.cannot use my passcode as the buttons do not work.
i have tried all the remedies, reset and factory reset, change clock face and recharge etc but nothing works.i have also updated to the latest software version and nothing helped.
i understand it is out of warranty but this seems like a Fitbit Versa 2 problem from
what I read in the forums.i paid £150 two years ago for this and for it to suddenly stop working is unreasonable.
i need to purchase another smartwatch but I am reluctant to spend money again with Fitbit if this is going to happen in another two years.
please help!

I have not found a resolution to my problem with a Fitbit and it would appear we are really just being fobbed off by Fitbit with a discount of 35% to buy a new Fitbit device when really they should be trying to find a fix for this issue that a lot of people are reporting. It is not good company ethic and certainly not good customer service.
I paid for a device that should last more than the 2 year warranty not just stop worki kg all of sudden try as so many people have reported. I am really reluctant to purchase another Fitbit device as I’m this could happen again and then I am back in the same situation again
Fitbit…. What are you going to do about these spontaneous working order cessation of the Fitbit devices?

FitBit has been designed for financial success by offering discounts when they degrade their products with firmwares.

I have exactly same problem with the battery and it’s frustrating… bought it 02 2020 and didn’t think that this would be such a short period so so much money. I used their products for so many years and 2 year is just really too short…

Hey
Just here in solidarity as mine is doing thr exact same stuff. Bought April 2020. Very much loved and looked after. Now all of a sudden won't swipe in any direction and basically unusable. Charge running short. No updates to be done. Soft and hard resets attempted with no difference made. Very disappointed.

Is it still within 2 year warranty as they will replace for you if it is.i am really upset with fitbits response and there seems to be no solution other than to purchase a new one. Something needs ti be done by Fitbit as this is just poor service. Warranty is supposed to last 2years and for the watch to continue ti work after this not two year warranty and device stops working after this period. Just as bad as apple in my opinion.
i have been fobbed off with a 35% discount to purchase a new Fitbit as mine is over the two year warranty period.

Same here, 35% off the next purchase. Just 2 months past the warranty.
and they expect me to invest another 200+ euros and hope it will last more than 2 years. What a business…
